Stuffed Celery
Stir together in a small bowl with ½ cup smooth or chunky peanut butter any or all of the following:2 or more tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons toasted wheat germ, optional
2 tablespoons shelled sunflower seeds, optional
raisins
Use enough honey to make the mixture spreadable but not too thin.
Cut celery stalks into 3 to 4 inch lengths. Spread peanut butter mixture into hollow of each celery stick.
You may also mix the peanut butter with the honey and wheat germ, spread on the celery and then dip in the sunflower seeds. Or, scatter a few raisins on top of the peanut butter mixture to create "Ants on a Log" for a fun kid treat. Better yet let the kids place the raisins.
Keep covered on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, handy for youngster to grab for a quick snack. Make a mix an match plate for serving with celery stick filled with Pimento Cheese. Both make a good addition to a school lunch.
