| Here a three
different kinds:
Cocoa-Peanut Butter-Oatmeal,
"Spaghetti" and "Bacon and Eggs". Before you begin, assemble the following: a large saucepan or double boiler*, a strong wooded mixing spoon, a teaspoon and several sheets of waxed paper. *You can make a double boiler by placing a large or medium size sauce pan of water about 1/3 full. Bring the water to a boil and reduce heat to keep the water just below the boiling point. Gently place a smaller sauce pan containing the chips or bark into the water. Take care that the hot water does not slosh or boil over the sides of the pan. |

Mix together sugar, butter or margarine, cocoa powder, milk and salt. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and quickly add oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until peanut butter is melted and oats are covered. Drop immediately by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to cool. |

1-6 ounce package chocolate chips 1-6 ounce package butterscotch chips 1-3 ounce can Oriental noodles 1-7 1/4 ounce can Spanish peanuts |

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in saucepan over low heat or in double boiler*, stirring constantly. Gently stir in noodles and nuts so not to break the up too much. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to cool until chips harden. Both of these will freeze well. Variation: Use two packages of butterscotch chips, omit the chocolate chips and you will have "Haystacks". A delightful idea for fall and Halloween.

| This is unusual and simple. And what do you do with all the other colors of M & Ms in the bag? Well, you could eat them or use them in chocolate chip cookies instead of chips. |
pretzel sticks, about 2 inches long white chocolate bark, melted in double boiler* yellow M & M candies Lay three pretzel sticks (bacon) side by side on a piece of wax paper. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the melted chocolate over the middle of the pretzel sticks (egg white) and place one yellow M & M (egg yolk) in the middle of the chocolate while it is still warm. Let chocolate harden before removing from wax paper.
