| We enjoyed this
on a delightful, Saturday afternoon culinary tour to Nogales, Sonora,
Mexico. The name means "my cold beer". I found several
different recipes, some eliminate the tomato juice, some use Clamato
juice. This one is the closest in taste as served at the El Toro
Steak House. These amounts are for one drink.
For information about the Nogales tour visit the Rio
Rico Resort and Country Club website at
http://rioricoresort.com/mexico.html. Rio Rico is 45 minutes south
of Tucson on Interstate 19. The cost is $63 per person
including the bus ride, an informational tour of the city, a visit to
two restaurants and Ley, a supermarket owned by Safeway.
Reservations can be made by calling 520-377-7318.
