Gin Fizz

This is Denis' version.  Amounts are for one drink.
 
1 egg
   juice of ½ large lemon
4 ounces half and half
1 dash orange flower water
2 cups shaved ice
   powdered sugar to taste
   gin to taste
 		  

Put all ingredients in a blender and mix thoroughly.  Pour into tall glasses or wine goblets.  Add a garnish of thin slice of orange and a cherry to each glass before serving.
