Cosmopolitan

The following is for one cocktail.  Vary the amounts depending upon your taste.
 
¾ ounce vodka
½ ounce Cointreau
½ ounce cranberry juice
    dash of lime juice
    lime rind and maraschino cherry with stem for garnish

 

 

 

Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add vodka, Cointreau, cranberry and lime juice.  Shake to blend.  Strain and serve straight up in cocktail glass garnished with lime rind and maraschino cherry.
